Designer's Notes:

This is an heirloom knit best suited for the guest bedroom or perhaps a luxurious accessory for your own retreat. Lace Edge Coverlet features a warm cream center of stockinette stitch surrounded by a wide french blue border of lace. It is best suited for a full bed. A warning to the zealous: this is not a project for the easily distracted. I estimate that it took my 200 hours of hand knitting to complete. The coverlet shown above was originally designed and sold for a charity auction, making it well worth all the effort.
