Episode 3 - "Knitting Together"

I demonstrate how to make your own unique point protectors. I share a way that we knitters can share our unwanted knitting books. And finally, Knitterati presents its first ever music video.

The "Notice Me" music video was created using stop-motion animation. This was my very first attempt at stop-motion and I'm very pleased with the results. I used this simple tutorial as my guide. "Notice Me" will be released by itself as a mini episode in the New Year; so watch for it and other minisodes.

Love the vodcast
Hi Nina
I'm really enjoying your new video podcast. The calipers are a brilliant idea - I never would have thought of that. I don't belong to a knitting group at the moment, but I'm now inspired to join one - sounds like a lot of fun.
Cheers
Sue
Silly girl...
Hi...I love your video-cast. You had mentioned that there is a tiny viewing window for videos in iTunes....BUT....if you click on that window, a separate video window comes up and you can make the video as large as your monitor screen. Just thought I'd let you know since you seem to not know that feature.
I see!
I was not aware that you could get a bigger picture in itunes. Thanks for sharing the info.
I think I'm going to stick with Miro, though. It takes a lot of clicks to get to the big screen mode in itunes and I'm an impatient gal. Most importantly, though, Miro allows users to tell the program how much space on the hard drive it can use for downloads and deletes things automatically 5 days after they have been watched (unless they are saved). Editing Knitterati requires a ton of hard drive space and things can get pretty tight, so this feature is especially important to me.
HI!
Hi Nina! I jsut got a new video ip[od for christmas and had heard of your videocast on a couple of other podcasts. I've watched all 3 episodes and really enjoyed them. I'm going to have to make some of those point protectors! super cute, why did I never think to blend the colors of the bake and bend!? DUH!
I have a few friends I knit with, we often meet the LYS(one of my knitting friends works there a couple days a week) or Caribou Coffee or Panera bread. We have a very fun time. There is often only 3 of us but sometimes up to 6 or 8. Our youngest knitter is a 5ht grader, and just turned 11, and we go up from there!

Enjoying your videocast!
I just found your videocast last month and have watched all 3 episodes. They're very creative and I have enjoyed viewing each one.
I am part of a knitting group that meets one evening a week at our LYS. I love our group and look forward to our weekly gatherings. We have all ages and levels of experience and it's a way to relax, learn, share and enjoy our shared love of knitting.
